The property is located two miles to the west of Forfar (population 14,000) and fifteen miles north of the city of Dundee in rural Angus. The property has open views which are particularly extensive to the south. There are many outdoor pursuits in the area such as golfing, hillwalking, fishing (fresh water and sea) and skiing at Glenshee which lies a little over an hour’s drive away. Forfar has a wide range of services including supermarkets, secondary schooling and a leisure centre. Access to the A90 dual carriageway is convenient and offers fast access to Forfar, Dundee and Aberdeen is only a little over an hour away.


Heading north on the A90. At the Glamis Junction to the west of Forfar, take the slip road sign posted for the A94 to Coupar Angus. At the roundabout, take the first exit towards Coupar Angus onto the A94. After a short distance, there is a white house on the right. Turn right here at the sign to Drumgley. Follow this rural road for around 1.2 miles. The turn to the house is on the right, clearly signed for “Easter Drumgley”. The distance from the public road to the house is around 0.4 mile.


Cotterton Lodge is a large luxurious house which offers a great quality of accommodation for an occupier. The rooms are finished to a high standard with high quality fittings.
