Attendees, who have arrived by car, and are parked in the hotel car park, are required to register their vehicles with the hotel car parking system. The registration boxes are located in Reception and the Pentland Suite. On arrival, please enter your vehicle’s registration number and the duration of your stay, to avoid incurring parking charges.


On client’s instructions, the following Lots have been sold/withdrawn prior to auction.

Lot 8 – The Bridgeton Bar, 159 James Street, Glasgow – Sold Prior
Lot 16 – 62 Cairnwell Place, Kirkcaldy – Sold Prior



Value Added Tax:- We confirm that Value Added Tax (VAT) will be levied on the purchase price

Interested parties have their attention drawn to the following amendments:

Lot 10 – 2 Craigentinny Avenue, Edinburgh - Please note the heating for the property is by way of air conditioning cassettes and electric heaters and not by gas central heating as stated in the brochure.

Lot 11 – Lauder Road, Stow - The application to renew the planning consent has been determined and recommended for approval. A “Determination Document” has been issued by Scottish Borders Council, confirming they are recommending renewal of the previous, in principle, consent for 6 houses subject to a Section 75 Agreement. The new Section 75 Agreement is currently with the Council’s solicitor, and will contain revised contribution figures. In short, the contribution now sought is £70,206 to reflect a contribution to rebuild Gala Academy. The breakdown of the figures is understood to be: “Waverley = 6 x 1,884 = £11,304, Education = 6 x 3,567 = £21,402, Afford H = 5 x 7,500 = £37,500 - TOTAL = £70,206”. Copies of the “Determination Document” and the original Section 75 Agreement form part of the Legal Pack”.

Lot 12 - Cotterton Lodge, Easter Drumgley, Nr Forfar – A detailed Land Certificate plan is available from the auctioneers showing the exact extent of the property being offered for sale.

Lot 14 - Dalvait Road, Balloch – Potential buyers should note that there is an old caravan and boat close to the northern edge of the property. These are not owned by the vendor and will not be removed by them prior to the completion of a sale.
It is understood that the property lies just within the Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park Planning area. Tel 01389 722600 and not as stated in the brochure.

Lot 17 - 54 High Street, Leven – The areas quoted in the body of the text for this Lot within the brochure is correct, however the area quoted above the address is not correct.

Lot 18 – 17 East End, Cleuch Brae, West Calder - The current rent payable is £5,250 p.a. and not as stated in the brochure.

Lot 20 – 58 High Street, Brechin – The building is C Listed and therefore, being currently vacant, should benefit from full commercial rates relief.
