Covid Update

We hope all our clients, both vendors and buyers, remain safe and well during these troubled times.

We had planned to hold our second live streamed auction in December, but unfortunately, due to the enhanced lockdown regulations introduced last week, combined with the enforceable travel restrictions, we have taken the decision to postpone the auction scheduled for 15/12/2020.

Bearing in mind that the health and safety of both the SVA Team and all involved with the auction process is of paramount importance, we undertook a review of the instructions received and those which were pending. As a significant proportion of the potential lots were located within Tier 3 and Tier 4 areas, we could not see how we would be able to safely and legally service these instructions, whilst ensuring the properties received appropriately full exposure to the market.

We now plan to hold our next auction on 17th February 2021. In the meantime, we are proposing to offer clients an extended marketing period, with lots being brought to the market as soon as logistically possible. This will allow interested parties a chance to commence their due diligence earlier than normal and, hopefully when travel restrictions are eased, they will take the opportunity to inspect properties well in advance of the auction date. We plan to offer the usual details of the lots and this will be supported, where possible, with an initial “Legal Pack”.
