Head south from Inverness on the B862 (Dores Road / General Wade’s Military Road). After approximately 29 miles the site is on your left in-between a farm steading and an access track for Braewood. The property comprises a roughly rectangular, undeveloped parcel of ground bounded by timber post and wire fences and with a metal field gate on the north-west side adjacent to the B862 (General Wade’s Military Road) public road. The site is otherwise surrounded by farmland. The ground is level with the road on the north-west and slopes down gently, then more steeply, towards a burn which runs south to north inside the property and close to the south-east boundary. The property is mainly covered with rough grass. There are also a number of mature trees within the site. An overhead electricity line runs across the site as indicated by the dotted line on the title plan.
