The site has a south-eastly slope and is mostly enclosed with timber post and wire fences. It has an irregular shape with approximate boundary dimensions of (taken from the title plan): NW, adjoining access track – 15.1m; NE, adjoining residential property – 14.7m; SE, adjoining residential property – 15.6m; SW, adjoining open ditch and agricultural land – 17.9m. Within the site is a below ground concrete water tank measuring approximately 5m x 5m and surrounded by an earth embankment, various small chambers and a fibre glass kiosk which formerly accommodated electrical equipment. The site can be accessed from either the B9030 or the Stuartfield to Maud road.
