LOCATION
Ballachulish lies approx 13 miles south of Fort William on the A82 trunk route. The name comes from the gaelic for village of the narrows and has been a crossing point over Loch Leven for hundreds of years. The Abhainn Greadhain RWI is an unfenced site straddling the river to the south of the WTW & CWT site. On site, there is a concrete weir and intake chamber set into the bank of the river.
