LOCATION

Ballachulish lies approx 13 miles south of Fort William on the A82 trunk route. The name comes from the gaelic for village of the narrows and has been a crossing point over Loch Leven for hundreds of years. DESCRIPTION

The WTW & CWT site comprises a regularly shaped, sloping fenced area housing a small building, a fibreglass kiosk and a range of largely underground tanks, valves etc. It has an access straight from the forestry track and is surrounded by forestry on the other 3 sides. The Abhainn Greadhain RWI is an unfenced site straddling the river to the south of the WTW & CWT site. On site, there is a concrete weir and intake chamber set into the bank of the river.
