From Portree take the A87 north following signs for Uig and Dunvegan. After approx. 4 miles take the A850 to the left signed Dunvegan. After approx 9 miles take the first road on your left signed to Upper Edinbane. The former Edinbane PS & TWP site is on your left after approx. 0.7 miles immediately beside the Ronan B&B. The pumphouse tank site is a short walk up through two fields to the North East of the PS & TWP site.

DESCRIPTION

The former Edinbane PS & TWP site is the larger of the two areas and sits close to the public road. It is a regular square shape comprising a gently sloping piece of ground fenced with concrete post and chainlink incorporating a timber stile for access. The fenced area (15m x 10m approx.) is smaller than the title area which is 15.24m (50’) square. It houses a concrete tank set partially above ground level. The remainder of the site is covered with rough grass/scrub. The second property was the former Edinbane Pumphouse tank site and is also a square site fenced with concrete post and chainlink. It sits in a field area suitable for grazing livestock. It houses a concrete tank at least partially above ground and the site is now heavily overgrown with scrub trees. All rights reserved.
